Couture Corner, a growing clothing brand in Texas, brings customers the latest seasonal trends and modern fashion styles. With hundreds of new products introduced each season, the brand empowers customers to showcase their unique style through quality, trend-driven apparel.
Couture Corner had been operating through a small physical store but wanted to expand its reach by creating a new customer touchpoint. The founder, Victoria Neilsen, was looking for a cost-effective yet scalable solution—she didn’t want the complexity of managing a traditional eCommerce website.
The answer was a dedicated mobile app, designed to provide a direct, engaging, and personalized shopping experience while keeping content and catalog management simple.

The primary challenge was to help Couture Corner grow its audience and sales without a website. Texas has relatively few homegrown clothing brands with strong digital presences, so App Vertices conducted extensive market research.
We found that the brand’s ideal audience consisted of Millennials, Gen Y, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha. Competitor analysis revealed that a modern, secure, and responsive mobile app with a visually appealing UI and seamless UX would be crucial. Core priorities included security, order management, personalized shopping experiences, and an easy-to-use interface.
Our team conducted three consultation sessions and two weeks of research to map out a clear strategy for Couture Corner’s digital presence. We then designed and developed a high-performance eCommerce app inspired by leading fashion and high-street shopping experiences.
Key goals included:
To improve the app’s layout, we conducted card sorting sessions with 25 customers aged 22–35. These sessions helped us structure product categories, menus, and call-to-actions in a way that felt intuitive and natural to the target audience.
We developed wireframes that were quickly approved due to their simplicity and focus on user needs. Adjustments were made based on user testing, including adding social logins and finalizing the white background for a clean look. We tested seven color palettes before selecting the final scheme.
The high-fidelity prototype brought the final concept to life with refined typography, product visuals, and interactive elements. We collaborated with the client for feedback and finalized all design assets before handing them to our development team.
Our developers built the hybrid app using React Native, ensuring a native-like user experience on both iOS and Android platforms. Key features included a dynamic product catalog, wishlist, add-to-cart flow, checkout process, and payment integration—all optimized for speed and security.
